WHAT’S IN A NAME?
Love the name of this one: KARPOV NOT KASPAROV–BAD BISHOP. Not sure it has anything to do with chess, and the Bishop in question might be a naughty Bishop with a thing for boys…IN ANY CASE, great music and in its own way ENTERTAINING.
And here is an old film in the ‘silent’ fashion that has chess as an important role, but it is not clear just what the message is. (It is not even clear if there is a message…that is the right of the socalled ‘experimental’ film genre.) In any case, great acting and a lovely piece!

This is really funny! And sad in a way also, when you think of the amount of energy, planning and money it cost to produce: surely there were better uses for these resources!

Bruce Lee is always in fashion! Here is a bit of his philosophy…as an aside, I am surprised that after almost 41 years since his death universities have not yet recognized Bruce’s philosophy for its own value and uniqueness… and put him right up there with Kant et al and offer university courses on his teachings. After all, what harm can it do: it is not as if philosophy has any real use in LIFE, and, atleast, it would be a sign of respect for the MAN himself. (chuckles)
