Having grown up and first hand witnessed the negative consequences of the concentrated wealth of the robber barons (Rockefeller, JPMorgan, Carnegie & Vanderbilt , just to name a few) on American life, FDR certainly knew what he was talking about.
Fast forward to 2020, the hard earned lessons of the past have been forgotten. Once more we see the oligarchs of big business twist the profile of democracy and liberty into their own image.
