Sochi hosts Russia_Tch

The strongest chess-orgy-party of the year! Blondes versus Brunettes! Which group fucks the best? The quintessential Russian question! The much anticipated Russian Team Championships got underway today in Sochi.
Both absolute and women’s events. The 9-round events will continue until the 29th at the Grand Hotel Zhemchuzhina.

Prize fund is a cool 1,000,000 rubles for the absolute event, while the women’s event has 600,000 rubles. The time control is the standard 40 moves for 90 minutes followed by 30 minutes to finish (plus 30′ per move).

Covid rules exist, and while masks do not seem to be mandatory, there is a plexi-glass barrier between the players, as can be seen in the photos above.
