Skopje Rd_1. Nerves rule the day!

Quick 1-Minute Summary

Round 1 was played today and there were some real surprises! A number of much higher rated players went down in flames against their respective opponents, while others narrowly escaped. Below is a small selection of games from this round.

Everything is up and running, but it is difficult to get games from this round. Perhaps it will be different tomorrow, but making available just 50 games is clearly insufficient.

On top of this, I can find no video apart from the 6 hour streaming (does anyone really have the time to watch this?), and just a handful of 2nd rate photos from the official website.

But as I wrote, hopefully, things will be better tomorrow…
