Figueira da Foz: R5 today
After 4 rds, only Petkov has perfect score
Will face GM Luis Galego in Rd 5
Yesterday’s double round was a bit tough for me, making a draw in 103 moves (!) in the morning round against GM Jakobowski (Poland) and having little energy left to try to slay the young Ukraine player Bogdanov‘s dragon, which also was a draw, but this time in a much more reasonable 29 moves.
That places me at 3 points from 4 games, and today I will face the Spanish international, Ismael Alshameary. Readers will remember that this tournament is 9-rounds long. The tournament ends on Sunday. Games can be followed live at a number of sites, including ChessBomb and the FPX’s own site.
