Cool! I came across this item just recently. It features two gentlemen playing a game of chess in the Antartic. The YouTube entry writes : Antarctic logistics base Union Glacier is just over 600 miles from the South Pole – Two American’s James Van Steenkiste and Peter Horvath inspired by the recent World Chess Championships between Carlsen and Capuana decided to have a game on the frozen continent. After 12 minutes in temperatures of -10 it was Van Steenkiste who claimed victory.
Unfortunately, the game score was not made available. Which might be a good thing, though…
