2020 Spanish Championship
The 6th round of the 2020 Spanish Championship took place this Saturday at the Hotel Anibal in Linares. Organized as a 9-round Swiss, two titles are up for grabs: the Absolute Champion and the Women’s Champion.
GM Ivan Salgado has the sole lead (5.5/6) but is closely followed by a crowd of 7 players at 5 points each: Alexi Shirov, David Anton, Manuel Candelario, Jaime Santos, Salvador Del Rio, Inigo Argandona and Jesus Martin.
