Welcome to my ”new” blog!
Good day , eveybody! WordPress will now become Spraggett on Chess’ new home for the present. I intend to also have a parallel blog on Tumblr set up before the end of the month. The next week will be a learning process for me as I try to understand all of the new features here that are different from how Blogger does things. In particular, the Caissa pgn-view does not seem to work very well in wordpress (as some might have already noticed), and so top on the list is to find a pgn-viewer that will serve as well here in wordpress. I have uploaded about 3/4 of my blog archives so far, the rest to be follow sometime in the next week.
As well, I will have to customize this homepage, gadgets, links, favourite sites, downloads, etc. Any suggestions or if you just want to contact me, please feel : [email protected]
WHY I AM NO LONGER AT BLOGGER

It is true that last year my blog was infected with some nasty code and this affected the blog’s performance, but did not require it to be closed down. I am certain that some of you remember this very well. HOWEVER, for Blogger to first post on Thursday morning a dramatic warning that my blog contained ”questionable” material (without informing me, at any point) and then –just hours later– to permanently close it down should require atleast a more informed explanation than the email above that was sent to me. Attempts to get this clarification have fallen on deaf ears.
That being said, I am moving forward! I had intended to move to WordPress and or Tumblr before the end of the year anyway. I want to thank Blogger for the four years that they put up with me. The service was excellent and I had a ball.
