Wednesday Coffee
Wednesday Coffee
Good morning, Wednesday! I can hardly believe my eyes. This week British MSM is finding it hard to keep up with reality! Wanting to spin a 24/7 pre-packaged Orwellian narrative put forward by 10 Downing Street about ‘alleged’ Russian use of a nerve agent, instead we are seeing more pressing – and real – issues come to the fore and obliging MSM to change course.
Trump dumping Tillerson in a tweet, the Russian military in Syria making a not so veiled threat to shoot down American planes and attack its airbases (all of this yesterday) the next time they put Russian troops and personnel in harm’s way, and especially today’s notice about Stephen Hawking‘s death are commanding immediate and priority MSM air time.
Not sure how an obviously disappointed Teresa May will be able to navigate all of this and get Brits back to focusing on the ‘threat’ of Russians nerve gassing London, but the week is not yet half over!
I have a feeling that there is a lot more to come our way…who knows, maybe by the weekend the British MSM and Teresa May will have better things to do than to try to gut football’s World Cup in Russia!
Solved: Spilled Coffee on your Keyboard
Brilliant! The damage caused by spilled coffee on your keyboard is equivalent to dropping your keyboard 40 feet! Not sure about you, but I have ruined atleast 3 keyboards in the past year this way! Even my wife complains about coffee stains in the house…in any case kudos to Apple for finally addressing the issue of spilled substances on keyboards. LINK to the story. Ofcourse, it is going to cost you something at first, but looking down the road I am going to come up on top!
How to get MSM interested in the Berlin Candidates!?
The most exciting and prestigious chess tournament of the past several years can’t get any press coverage from MSM. Does this sound right to you? But I will tell you what MSM prefers to cover when it comes to chess:
Sad. That is right! MSM will happily report on chess provided there it contains a freak show! LINK
This is a pattern that is all too familiar to the international chess community. Here on this blog I have written dozens of articles on exactly this issue. I am beginning to think that it is not so much about MSM not liking chess, but instead it is mostly about how far MSM has strayed from what used to be considered ‘normal’ standards of journalistic objectivity.
Today MSM seems to be about how much entertainment can be fit into a sound bite short enough for the average American to retain while taking a dump…
