Another cigar photo, but this time with a chess theme. Photographer unknown/ I tried via Google to find it, but without any clear result.

New piece for Victory Journal about master chess player James Canty, who struggles to make ends meet in the low-paying world of professional chess. Luckily, a new sponsored tournament has popped up, giving hope to many players. http://patrickleger.tumblr.com/
NOTHING TO DO WITH CHESS!
CHESS TACTICS ANYONE?
Montcada International 2016.7.3 im Vera Siguenas, Deivy(2492)—im Oliva Castaneda, Kevel(2493). Position after 30 moves. The last move was 30.Bh5!? Rg8-h8(?), completely overlooking White’s threat (30…Rg5! is unclear)
I am not sure what was going on in Black’s head, but he probably thought that White had simply overlooked his last move (if the Queen retreats then Black simply takes the Bishop)
WHITE TO PLAY AND CRUSH!
Mate changes everything…
Montcada International 2016.7.3 gm Shyam, Sundar M(2526)–im Vera Siguenas, Deivy(2492). The last move was 34.Qc8+! Kg7. A curious fight, typical I suppose for an Open tournament. Black was better for most of the early middlegame , but then he got careless. Even so, what could possibly be wrong with Black’s game, right?
