A variety of curiosities in the world of chess and art will be the subject of this musical documentary. An entertaining essay film as much for chess and art enthusiasts as for everybody who is interested in discovering how much the crazy chess world has to do with life itself.

You might remember Berlin based artist Uros Djurovic and the NIGHT OF THE PAWN chess community, you posted about that issue in the past.
Well, I am also playing in the NOTP tournaments (on a not very good level, but that´s irrelevant…), and got inspired to plan a full-length feature documentary about chess. I am a professional film director and a few days ago I have started the production of DESTRUCTION OF TIME as a crowdfunding film project. The essayistic documentary film will be about a variety of curiosities in the world of chess and show some entertaining interrelations between chess, art, science, metaphysics and philosophy. Uros is one of the protagonists in the film.
I have recruited a very talented film crew and we produced a trailer of 5 minutes to show how the film is going to look and sound like. ”Now we need the support of chess enthusiasts who are interested in backing this project. On the German crowdfunding platform STARTNEXT we offer different rewards for backers, most of them implicate a name credit in the final film. Even a Co-Producer´s credit in the title sequence can be booked!
If we succeed in collecting 23.000 € the film gets produced and the rewards will be shipped. If we don´t reach the funding goal all the money will be sent back to the supporters by the crowdfunding platform.
We are not only looking for financial support but also for suggestions for more subjects about chess related oddities which we could include in the film.
