SPRAGGETT ON CHESS
Ralph sent me the following video and figured that my readers might find it thought provoking. As explained in the video, our current network of highways uses an antiquated technology whose cost is ever increasing. Especially since it is petroleum-based.
The new concept incorporates the latest technologies and, on paper atleast, seems to deal with many of the problems and obstacles that our ever expanding world needs to face.
OFCOURSE, the video only presents the postive side. There are definite disadvantages, especially with respect to start up costs and maintenance. You can read about them here . However, wouldn’t it be possible to try this in one major city or urban area to serve as a working model ?
