Below is a spectacular win from the 1st round of the Open tournament, part of the 2019 Chess Festival in Netanya, Israel. White is the experienced grandmaster, Mikhail Antipov, while his opponent is a talented – but unexperienced – youngster. The game is instructive and an excellent example of what can happen if Black ‘forgets’ to castle in the Sicilian. Enjoy!

Not a perfect game by any standards. But it is instructive and very appealing to the spectators. Moreover, Black did not play so badly! Sometimes chess is like that…the position gets out of control.
