Fighting Chess!
The South American zonals are, by tradition, very hard fought and often produce wonderful examples of fighting chess, full of risk-taking and passion.
With only two qualifying spots available to the upcoming World Cup, there is that much more incentive. After 7 rounds of play we find multiple ties at the top. The final 2 rounds should be very tense!
Classification after 7 rounds
Below is a small selection of games that I consider to be amongst the more interesting produced so far. Enjoy!
