What chessplayer has never heard of the great Paul Keres? June 5th will be the 45th anniversary of Keres’ untimely death, and to commemorate this occasion I am going to publish dozens of Keres’ most famous tactics over the next 5 weeks.
Below you find a dozen tactics. Most are not very difficult, but don’t be deceived: the first example finds the legendary World Champion Alexander Alekhine fall victim to a beautifully hidden one-mover!
