Monday’s chess puzzle
SPRAGGETT ON CHESS
WHITE TO PLAY AND WIN!
Good morning Monday! Today I am not going to be as tough on you as I usually am. Today’s problem is more about art than simply finding the solution and driving home the point. White is a piece up but Black’s King is very close to the White b-pawn, and therefore White must act very fast if he is not to see his last pawn get exchanged and a draw being forced.
The solution is beautiful. I am certain you already have an idea…White to play and win. Good luck!
