Mariana’s ART
Mariana Ferreira Alves is a talented 20-year old Portuguese artist. She is currently studying design in Covilha, and already has some of her work published. Mariana specializes in the type of art that goes by various names (fan art, anime, etc) and has todo with creating characters and their stories. Wow! Mariana writes ” I tried to make this all in one single layer but it was scary so when I was about 80% done I gave up on the single layer thing and it kinda turned into a big mess. Art is hard! I haven’t thought much about her background and such yet, cause I usually start with the character design and then proceed to think about that. I was thinking about a character who lives in a tribe of harpys tho, maybe in war with another mythical creature species. But I’m not sure yet…”
