My fellow colleague and friend, Kaido Kulaots, needs no introduction to my blog readers. I have published many of his games here over the years.
Kaido can be considered to be an exponent of the ‘Keres School of Chess’ (Estonia) where attacking skills are razor sharp and are second to none in the world.
Playing in the Aeroflot tournament in Moscow, after 3 rounds Kaido has an excellent score of 2.5 points from 3 games.
But what is brilliant is that he won twice with the Black pieces against the Iranian superstars Parham Maghsoodloo and Alireza Firouzja. I give both games below for the readers to play through and admire. Enjoy!

I just learned that today Kulaots won , once more with the Black pieces, against the Russian superstar Dubov! Wow! Talk about being on a roll…
