SPRAGGETT ON CHESS
HAPPY NOW, LYNN?
”We are dead. What way is there to go on?”
Earlier today Karen wrote on her website, before the resolution hearing:
”I’m not sure what will happen today at this dispute resolution hearing … the procedure is to call a toll-free number in Burnaby (Vancouver) that connects everyone taking part in the hearing, together in a conference call.
Should I lose, I don’t know what will happen or how fast.
The landlord has hired an agent called TheEvictor — google for info about this agent. I am noting bitterly that the landlord refused to hire a lawyer to address the situation, even though his fellow strata association shareholders have been harassing and assaulting me and committing all kinds of violence against me for months and months.
Silken and I may be homeless by tonight. We may lose everything … shelter, all household effects and belongs, et cetera.
As we haven’t been able to insure the car since August, living there isn’t even an option. We probably will lose the car, and I don’t foresee how we will ever afford another.
We have been refused welfare and social assistance because Peter Stockhausen and me, are still married in the eyes of the law and so he has a legal duty to support us and his dependent child.
That is the Catch-22 situation that the social assistance people have presented to me. Of course, we can’t serve legal documents to change this situation, because Peter Stockhausen has vanished, presumably with assistance to enable him to remain vanished.
Presumably Peter Stockhausen has engineered this miserable situation and is reading this, with great satisfaction and glee … in the company of his supporters and enablers.”
Just a couple of hours ago Karen let everyone know that she had lost the hearing, and is now awaiting to be evicted….
Four months ago the RCMP informed Karen that her husband of more than 20 years had ‘disappeared’. Infact…he had run off , taking the family assets and even the car and is hiding like a fugitive.
Karen’s plight is growing worse each day. Some in the BC chess community know where Peter is, but are keeping quiet. Peter, after all, is an important figure in their chess community… and Karen is not one of ‘them’.
”Show me the man you honor, and I will know what kind of man you are.”
