ALL SOLUTIONS TO THIS WEEK’S TACTICS WILL BE POSTED TOMORROW MORNING!

Moscow, yesterday also! White had just played 40.Bxd5. What a wild position! (Hasn’t anyone heard about positional chess?) Black is supposedly a bit better after 40…Bg6(!) but in this kind of position it is never over until it is over….HOWEVER, Black played inaccurately with the natural 40…Ne2+? and the game continued 41.RxN! BxR arriving at the following position:
Here White played the imprecise 42.Qe4. INSTEAD, White has a really strong knock-out punch.
WHITE TO PLAY AND WIN!
Ganguly, S–Panarin, M: 17.Rxd7! Qxd7 18.Ra8+ Bd8 and now the quickest is 19.Bg5! and it is all over but the shouting.
Kokarev, D–Ibragimov, I: White missed 42.Rg8+!! Kxg8 43.Qg6+ Kh8 44.Qxh6+ Kg8 45.Qf8+ Kh7 46.Be4+
