Colombia: standings after 6 rounds

Medellin! The 6th round of the 12th Continental Championship has just finished. Half way point of the 11 round tournament and Canadian grandmaster Anton Kovalyov is well positioned with 5 pts, just half point less than the two leaders Cori and Bachmann.
The Canadian delegation is doing fine: Raja, Shiyam and Elis all having 4 points. Even though they are all losing rating points, it is deceptive. Colombian players generally are under rated between 100 and 200 rating points. What matters now is the final sprint: with 5 rounds to go and 6 qualification spots to the World Cup in September, everything is still possible! Good luck, Gentlemen!
