SPRAGGETT ON CHESS
I finally arrived in Cappelle. I was uncertain about how to travel (air, train or bus) because of the threats of strikes and slowdowns. In the end I decided to come by bus…it takes about 6 hours longer than by other means but it is certain.
27th Cappelle-la-Grande International Open Tournament

I am staying at a hotel with the Portuguese and the Asians in Dunkerque, a small city which Canadian history buffs might recall from grand old stories of World War II. Unfortunately, the wifi system at the hotel is ‘under repair’, so my posting might be a bit less volumous than is usual. However, I will be posting daily, and you can follow the tournament at the above link.
