The great English Romantic poet, John Keats (1795 to 1821) observed that “A thing of beauty is a joy forever.” Who amongst us can argue with this? The beauty of the game of chess enhances the charm of the lovely lady above. (And vice versa!)

The German musician released the album Timewind in 1975. The imagery and symbolism associated with chess is unmistakeable. Was Klaus (born 1947) a chess player? Perhaps…the expression ‘Use your brain’ was often employed in marketting his early work.
