August BCN available for download!
Readers will be pleased to be able to download BCN’s August issue right here! The popular English-language newsletter is the brainchild of Canadian chess master, author and teacher Michael Yip, who has called Budapest home since 2009. This month’s issue focuses on the Canadian Open and the Québec Open. Lots of games with analysis! PLUS plenty of international news coverage of major events. ENJOY!
Michael is also the number one DAILY source for Canadian chess news, games and analysis. Readers should take note of his popular BLOGS: Canadian Chess News, 1.e4 Chess News, 1.d4 Chess News and 1.REO Chess News.
Slowly the Canadian chess community, both at home and abroad, is catching up to the rest of the world with respect to its online presence. Numerous facebook accounts have appeared by Canadian players of all ages and strengths.
Fortunately, most of these efforts complement each other and do NOT compete with each other! For example, just recently the CFC has started a NEWSFEED that appears to mostly focus on CMA news but is primarily geared towards weaker players with learning disabilities and attention-span deficiencies. Check it out to see what I mean!
