“Andrew Paulson was born in 1958 in the United States. In 1981, he graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s degree in modern French literature. In 1993, Mr. Paulson came to Russia and began working in the publishing business in Moscow. In 1998, Andrew Paulson became one of the founders and President of the publishing house “Afisha”. In January 2006 the publishing house was sold to the holding of Vladimir Potanin’s ProfMedia, and Mr. Paulson left office.
In 2006, together with businessman Alexander Mamut and Andrew Paulson, the company created a SUP. SUP soon signed with the American Six Apart, the agreement, which began to serve the Russian-speaking segment LiveJournal. In 2012, Andrew Paulson founded the company AGON Ltd, which signed a long term exclusive contract with the International chess Federation for the organization, development, and commercialization of the world Championships in chess.”
