5-sec Tactics à la Kavalek
Part 1: Intermediate Level

The sudden death of grandmaster Lubomir Kavalek earlier this week has saddened the chess world. Fortunately, his games and writings will continue to delight chessplayers for generations to come. To honor Kavalek’s legacy, I start with a presentation of selected tactics from his games. Part 1 will be relatively easy tactical themes – chosen from his games that did not go beyond move 25 , Part 2 and Part 3 will deal with more advanced themes as well as some of his best games. Enjoy and good training!
